Here we can see a small single stage pump. Pumps are manufactured in a range of sizes from the very small to the extremely large for handling large quantities of water or other liquid. Pumps of this type are used for pumping at low pressures, however, pressures can be increased by the use of multi stage units.
Note :- Periodic examination is advised to check that glands are not leaking excessively and that internal corrosion or deterioration caused by cavitation has not occurred.
