Lorry Loader Crane
|
|
These cranes are powered by a hydraulic pump driven from the truck. There are no lifting chains or ropes fitted to the crane but instead they use a hook fastened at the end of the jib to which 'lifting accessories' may be fitted. Sections of the jib articulate and slew, allowing the crane to load/unload items over the load carrying area. The crane is bolted directly to the truck chassis and the truck is fitted with outriggers for stability when the crane is in use.
