There are several types of elevating work platform from the single one-man ‘beanstalk’ to the large scissor type platform that will carry several men. These can be self-propelled or manually pulled into place. Additionally, there are the truck & van mounted types used by local councils for example for changing bulbs in street lighting columns etc.
