Tower Crane (Self Erecting)

These cranes are similar, but of small capacity to a saddle/derrick type tower crane. The base is fitted with wheels either in the form of a trailer or on a truck chassis to make them mobile. Truck mounted cranes tend to be used for one-off lifts, while the trailer mounted ones are used semi-permanently on small, low-rise developments.
