Swing Jib Crane (Pillar/Wall)
|
|
As the name implies, the crane consists of a jib mounted on a pivot bearing so that it swings through an ark and is either mounted on a pillar or wall. The jib is then fitted with a lifting machine, usually an electric or manual chain block and trolley. They are generally found in factories mounted near to or on a machine tool to provide assistance with loading.
