Diesel Dragline Excavator

Basically a diesel crawler crane but rigged and used as a dragline excavator, which means the hook is replaced by a dragline bucket and the auxillary hoist drum is used for the dragging rope. Capacities and jib lengths are generally the same as a diesel crawler crane and typical uses would dredging or excavating a gravel pit. Appropriate Legislation - LOLER - if used for lifting |
