These machines are similar to vertical injection moulding machines and are equipped with a set of mould tools. However, as the name implies, a plasticized slug of plastic is introduced into the cavity of the closed moulds and is blown by compressed air into the cavity to form a hollow moulding, i.e. a plastic bottle.
