Guillotine (Electric/Hydraulic)

Guillotines can be hydraulic or mechanically operated and are used to cut sheet steel which in some cases can be up to 1/2 inch thick. The operation is similar to a pair of scissors with a powered blade moving against a fixed one cutting the material between them. To prevent the material moving and to provide a guard to the front of the machine, this machine is fitted with a clamp bar with the sides and rear being protected by fixed guards.
